If that claw is not messed up, and those pins are still under the shift star you probably found the problem. WebOct 10, 2024 · I have had them bent that bad before, sometimes there is no way that end will pull through the cases. I have gone in from clutch side, packed cases with shop towels to keep stuff out of motor and cut the plate off on the shift shaft and then pull the shaft out the shifter side. Backwards from normal. You are going to need a new shaft anyway.
WebJul 17, 2007 · QuadManiac. Pull your clutch cover and carefully inspect the shift shaft and all other shift related components (see all in the manual) for bends/mis-alignment.
