FIRST, you work the top of the bowstring, the TOP end loop, adding or removing EnOUGH twists, to get the peep to point straight ahead, LIKE this....at brace height. if you try 1 twist, and the peep is not pointing straight at brace, then, go back to the bow press and do 2 more twists. WebJul 17, 2024 · The string seems to twist when I let off the press and the peep ends up in all directions but the correct one.. the peep comes out twisted to the left, twisted to the right, and it's also come out facing 180 opposite of where it's supposed to be. Currently, it's facing about 15-20 degrees to the left of where it should be.

WebAug 4, 2006 · The way to fix yours is to shoot it a lot (how old is the string?) and then take the string off of the top cam and rotate it so that it is close and then you untie the peep (mark it with some whiteout) and 1 at a time move a single strand of the string to the other side of the peep and re-tie it so it doesn't move.
