The Society houses its museum in the Andrew J. Volstead House. Originally owned by Congressman Volstead, the author of the National Prohibition Act of 1919 from 1894-1930. Volstead House Museum is managed by the Granite Falls Historical Society, a volunteer based nonprofit dedicated to preserving the history of Granite Falls. The City of Granite Falls owns the historic structure.
